The timeline
below is a 54 foot Mural that displays many "Firsts"
in
the History of Aviation. Click HERE to see a
text version of the mural.
The purpose of the Mural was a vehicle to teach
children about special events in aviation. The mural was designed
by Rouch and drawn by children at Cottonwood, Desert Willow,
Acacia, Mesquite, Sycamore, and Myers-Ganoug Elementary Schools.
This mural is displayed at Tucson International Airport
for the Centennial of Flight commemoration.
What was really a nice experience for me was to work with the children
drawing the pictures and telling them the stories about the events.
